Scrubbing it hard works for the big pieces of gravel and coarse sand that get stuck in the soles of your shoes.
But it is no use to scrub with all your might; you know how stubborn stains can be.
Only by using water, can one wash away the dirt that has been removed without letting it settle onto your shoes again.
I can't find the clean water that I need.
On a sidenote, I think my astigmatism is getting worse.
Will be away for the next 3 weeks.
Maybe I'll find a little stream trailing along some secluded place, maybe maybe I'll settle for dirty water, or maybe I'll let the stain be a reminder.
I've been a very horrible person recently, and I thank everyone who has tolerated my nonsense up to this point.
I want to be clean, and I need to find a way to clean myself.
